We at the “Beati” foundation believe that every child has the right and the need to get the chance to maximize their potential. The most beneficial environment for the development of each child is within a family, a place of loving and conscious parents who realize the unique value of every human being and are ready to take care of it so that it can bloom in its full beauty.
Unfortunately, there are many children in Bulgaria who no one has ever chosen. Many children placed in institutions have special needs or are older. Finding a family for them takes longer, but we believe that somewhere in the world their parents may be waiting for them.
Regardless of whether we can find a family for these children, we owe them that care and we are making efforts to give them that chance.
In order to increase the chances of these children finding a family, the Ministry of Justice has introduced a special procedure. It is unique because it enables adopters willing to accept a child with special needs or a child of a higher age to begin their adoptive procedure much faster.
